Kick-Off for Training at Bürkert

28 young people enter work life with introduction week
Fascinating and diverse - that is what the start into work life was like for the new vocational trainees of 2007. A whole week helped to get them ready for the "lifelong learning" at Bürkert. With a program that had more to offer than mere slide presentations and a round tour.

A visit to the new Systemhaus, factory tours, a joint sports afternoon to loosen up with a subsequent dinner, as well as a day for teambuilding including canoeing and high rope course, rounded off the process of preparation for the time at Bürkert. Besides that Bürkert training team who accompanied the trainees-to-be, the experienced Bürkert trainees were also at their side with help and advice.

Compared to the previous year, 25% more adolescents are starting a professional and promising vocational training program in technical and commercial professions as well as in two study courses (BA, FH). Out of the 28 young people, Bürkert is training 4 together with partner companies (ZTO, BDG, AKM).

"As one of the biggest employers with training programs in the region we do have a certain social responsibility for the young generation. With our training positions we are able to offer a high degree of variety and quality in 9 different professional channels", says Richard Gebert, who is in charge of vocational training at Bürkert.

Top quality vocational training has always been a part of the Bürkert corporate culture. A company, which operates within the sphere of measuring and control technology and offers both high-tech products and system solutions, does not stop at providing a solid knowledge base for the 'new blood'. For the future success of the company the employees' ongoing further qualification is just as essential in order to always ensure a high level of competence and know-how for future challenges.
