Pre-Requisite:
General or technically-related university-entrance qualification, Fachhochschule qualification. Good achievements in natural sciences. Completed military/community service.
Exchange Training:
In the 4.5 years of study the professional qualifications for electronic engineering for equipment and systems and for a qualified electrical engineer are achieved. Theoretical training phases at the vocational college and the Fachhochschule alternate with practical training in the company. A preliminary trainee placement is not required.
Qualification Profile:
In the first two years the emphasis is on the training content of the trainee profession of the electrical engineer. For example the work activities include the production, testing, measuring and repair of equipment and assembly groups from the energy and/or communications technologies.
The job profile of the electrical engineer is extremely varied. Employment areas open up both in mechatronic systems and in electrical propulsion systems, in power electronics, in measuring and control engineering, sensor technology and microprocessor technology etc.
