Pre-Requisite: General or technically-related University-entrance qualification (Abitur <German school leaving certificate>average at least 2.5). Good achievements in natural-science subjects. Completed military/community service.
Exchange Training:
The six study semesters divide up into theoretical and practical training periods each of 12 weeks' duration (dual system).
A 3 months commercial trainee placement period precedes the study.
Qualification Profile Qualified Information Management:
A company that is active in the market requires integrated information management systems for the development of its business processes through which company data can be maintained and evaluated for strategic decision-making processes. Such systems are developed by information management professionals and are adapted to the special requirements of the company. Therefore he/she requires both a knowledge of business management and of information technology. The individual must be able, in discussions with users, to ascertain their requirements and then to take these into consideration when designing systems. Therefore in this study course much emphasis is placed on communication and teamwork abilities.
